Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Albuquerque seeks a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform MACD moves, installation, repair, and testing on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena gear, with emphasis on reliable internet, copper and fiber services.

You will travel with a company vehicle, uphold safety standards, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while diagnosing and resolving issues in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications, business installation, service for electronics, appliances, security, or cabling.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in the field independently in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience to every client.
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using de-escalation techniques.
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment.
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including wiring, hardware replacements, and data circuits.
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times.
