Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in the Minneapolis area is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician to support restoration, maintenance and installation of telecom networks. You will perform MACD tasks on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena gear and test circuits using OTDR equipment to ensure reliable services.

You'll work customers on site, travel with a company vehicle, and uphold safety standards while delivering customer-focused service in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• A positive, can-do attitude and customer-focused approach.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in the field independently and thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highquality, customerfocused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective deescalation techniques
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
