Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician with 5+ years in telecommunications to perform MACD on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena gear, and to install, repair, configure, and test circuits. You will support optical, electrical, voice and data services and test with OTDR equipment.

The role requires on-site work at customer locations, on-call evenings/weekends, travel with a company vehicle, and strict adherence to safety.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of telecommunications experience in installation and service.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to de-escalate concerns.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in the field independently with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide elite customer service experience to all customers.
• De-escalate customer concerns professionally.
• Perform on-site installation and repair of internet, copper and fiber cabling, rack-mounted routers, and demarcation extensions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues such as cabling, card swaps, and data circuits.
• Maintain and adhere to Ledcor's safety program with all tools and equipment.
