Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a field technician to install, operate and maintain gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations, and related facilities. You will participate in damage prevention, patrolling, locating pipelines, and excavation inspection under supervision.

The role requires willingness to progress through Operator Qualifications, strong mechanical aptitude, basic math, and good communication. Some travel and varying outdoor conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to pursue Operator Qualifications (OQ) and progression requirements.
• Knowledge of basic MS Office applications (Excel/Word).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain pipelines, compressor stations and related facilities.
• Patrolling, locating pipelines, construction and excavation inspection per Damage Prevention Program.
• Coordinate work groups and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
