Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Jasper, AL is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and enforce safety standards. You will liaise with management to set deadlines, assign tasks, and monitor performance in the field with a focus on efficiency and quality.

You will train crew members, conduct safety briefings, and maintain documentation on hours, equipment, and incidents. A valid CDL is required, and willingness to travel for storm work is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols? (not specified)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organized and able to multi-task.
• Able to adjust to field requirements and act independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Able to work overhead and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised units.
• Enforces safety practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work scope; escalates issues as needed.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through professional conduct.
• Investigates minor incidents and settles minor damage claims.
• Keeps records of crew hours, work completed, and equipment usage.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes methods and manpower.
