Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems in West Chicago, IL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across the assigned area, ensuring driver and laborer safety and driving efficient, compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Operations Supervisor, preferably from waste management, manufacturing or trucking/transportation.
• Must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or willing to obtain one (if supervising drivers).

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety training, incident reporting and ensure driver/laborer safety.
• Plan shifts, call-ins/no-shows and report department metrics.
• Ensure facility or route optimization and coverage at all times.
• Evaluate and perform facility, area or route visits and assessments.
• Address customer issues and solve problems as they arise.
• Lead and supervise drivers/laborers, provide feedback and maintain motivation.
