Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor in waste management, manufacturing or trucking.
• CDL license is required or willing to obtain one (if supervising drivers).
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Self-starter with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations; supervise drivers and laborers.
• Provide safety training, incident reporting and scheduling shifts.
• Plan for call-ins/no-shows and report department metrics.
• Optimize facility or route coverage and conduct site visits.
• Address customer issues and respond to unexpected situations.
• Lead and supervise staff, delivering feedback and setting a positive tone.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements.
