Job summary

VeoRide, Inc. is looking for an Operations teammate in New Jersey to support the Operations Manager in the market. This role blends hands-on field tasks with essential administrative duties in a fast-paced micromobility environment.

About 60-80% of the time is hands-on labor and vehicle maintenance, with 20-40% dedicated to hiring, scheduling, productivity tracking, and SOP follow-up. The role requires good physical stamina and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be on your feet for the entirety of a shift.
• Knowledge of the local geography and street layout.
• Clear, effective communication.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day market duties.
• 60-80% hands-on, including direct labor and warehouse tasks.
• Hand-count assets and perform compliance audits.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles; respond to field service requests.
• Redistribute scooters across Veo’s service areas.
• Identify scooters needing in-shop repair.
• Handle ad-hoc field tasks as required.
• 20-40% admin work: hiring, training, scheduling staff.
• Track employee productivity; SOP follow-up.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
