Job summary

Veo is hiring an Operations Associate in New Jersey to support daily field activities for our fast-paced micromobility network. You’ll perform hands-on tasks, warehouse organization, asset counting, basic vehicle maintenance, and respond to field service requests while redistributing scooters.

You’ll also assist with hiring, training, scheduling, SOP follow-up, and other projects as needed as Veo grows across the U.S.

• Tues-Sat start time between 12-2pm, end time between 8-10pm

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market
• 60-80% of your time will be hands‑on, manual work to include:
• Direct labor and warehouse organization
• Hand-count assets and compliance audits
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles
• Respond to on‑demand and in the field customer service requests
• Redistribute scooters around Veo's service areas
• Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in‑shop repair
• Ad‑hoc field tasks and other tasks as required
• 20-40% of your time will consist of a variety of administrative work to include:
• Support Operations Manager with hiring, training, scheduling staff
• Employee productivity tracking
• SOP follow‑up
• Assist Operations Manager with other projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be on your feet for the entirety of a shift
• Knowledge of the local geography and street layout
• Clear, effective communication
• Eligible to work in the United States

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.

Pay Range

$22—$23 USD
