Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a hands-on operations supervisor to visit client sites weekly, coordinate driver routes, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries. You will communicate with drivers, dispatchers, customers, and senior management to address issues and improve performance.

The role emphasizes coaching drivers, enforcing policies, and maintaining high service levels while overseeing daily operations and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service or transportation.
• CDL required.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and work under pressure.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients’ locations weekly to address issues and build partnerships.
• Communicate daily with drivers, dispatch, customers, and Sr. Management.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop and execute improvement plans.
• Coach drivers on performance and safety and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Oversee route assignments, monitor performance, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Support customer relationships and manage cost controls; assist with claims.
