Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to ensure daily operations run smoothly on site. The role involves coordinating crew work, training, enforcing safety, and communicating with property owners to organize access and resolve issues.

The foreperson will mentor crew members, manage training, and oversee job execution while coordinating with management on deadlines and safety protocols. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to field requirements.
• Capable of driving an approved company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards; conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners about access, interruptions, and responsibility for damages.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations and reports on work completed and crew performance.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage claims when delegated.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew operation reports.
• Controls crew costs and efficiency; ensures proper use of resources.
