Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and ensure safety compliance on site. You will mentor staff, manage timings, and resolve field issues in collaboration with management.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus the ability to travel for storm work and operate company vehicles safely.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work independently.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refers complex cases upward.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of work and professional conduct.
• Keeps records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance and costs.
