Utilities Service, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily operations and coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. The role troubleshoots site issues, mentors crew, and ensures training is completed.

Responsibilities include field training, enforcing OSHA standards, coordinating access with property owners, maintaining records, and reporting on crew activity. CDL required for driving company vehicles and storm work readiness.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational ability and multitasking capability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA requirements, and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, interruptions, work scope, and potential damage with property owners/customers.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains customer relations through effective completion of assigned work and professional conduct.
• Investigates minor incidents/damage claims and settles where appropriate.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of people and equipment.
• Provides reports on orders completed, crew time, and equipment maintenance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments during street/driveway work.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, and other equipment.
