Qualifications

  • Provide exceptional customer service to diverse deaf and hard-of-hearing clients.
  • Experience supporting deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, or disabled customers.
  • Ability to communicate in ASL at various proficiency levels.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Educate community about programs and services and assist with the California Connect application process.
  • Perform in-home assessments and equipment installation training.
  • Gathers community input via focus groups and surveys to improve resources.
  • Maintain documentation per state requirements including services and referrals.
  • Build relationships with partner organizations and community groups.
  • Adhere to privacy and information security protocols.
