Job summary

Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD) is seeking a part-time position supporting the California Field Operations Coordinator for Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP). The role involves helping disabled Californians select specialized telephone equipment and providing necessary training.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, 6 to 12 months customer service experience, and preferred bilingual skills in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of previous customer service experience.
• Bilingual: Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist disabled residents with selection of telecommunications equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain program database logging service records.
• Coordinate with providers to resolve customer complaints.
• Work closely with Field Advisors for scheduling field visits.
