Job summary

Bee Window in Fishers, IN is seeking a Field Operations Manager to own day-to-day installation execution across windows, doors, bath systems, and siding. You will coordinate in-house crews and subcontractors, ensure on-time installs to spec, and protect warranty and referrals.

This role reports to the VP of Operations, travels to sites daily, drives scheduling, quality checks, safety, and continuous improvement to keep the install calendar full and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement installation, with windows, doors, siding, or bath systems preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience managing installation crews or subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of installation best practices, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes and permitting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and crews simultaneously without losing schedule or quality.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across sales, warehouse, crews, and homeowners.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites daily within the assigned territory.
• Ability to visit active installation sites in varying weather conditions, climb ladders, access rooftops and inspect installations at height.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors across active jobs to meet committed customer install dates.
• Coordinate pre-installation site reviews to confirm measurements, product orders, and site conditions match the sold scope of work.
• Monitor daily job progress across multiple concurrent sites, resolving scheduling conflicts and material shortages before they delay an install.
• Sequence multi-trade jobs to eliminate downtime between trades.
• Perform in-progress and final quality inspections to verify adherence to installation guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, permit requirements, and warranty conditions.
• Identify defects, callbacks, and rework needs, driving timely resolution.
• Maintain job site safety standards, including OSHA compliance and proper PPE use.
• Supervise in-house crews and manage relationships with subcontracted crews, including onboarding and training.
• Communicate daily job assignments and scope changes to crews, addressing performance or conduct issues.
• Track field metrics such as install completion rates, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Escalate and resolve customer complaints tied to installation quality or timeliness.
