Job summary

Sterling Search Partners is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead, train, and support field teams across multiple locations in the United States. This role emphasizes developing frontline leaders, improving field execution, and upholding operational standards while traveling to job sites and locations as needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands‑on leadership, solving problems in dynamic environments, and guiding teams through onboarding, safety practices, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience in operations, field leadership, training, logistics, installation, moving, or a related industry.
• Experience developing frontline leaders and delivering training.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
• Must be comfortable working in the field and spending significant time at operational locations and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor frontline supervisors and team leaders on staffing, scheduling, project planning, time management, and decision‑making.
• Provide hands‑on coaching in the field and develop plans to address performance and skill gaps.
• Identify high‑potential employees and help prepare them for advancement.
• Reinforce customer service, communication, safety, and professional standards.
• Provide hands‑on training to new and existing employees at job sites and operational locations.
• Support onboarding and ensure employees understand required procedures, equipment, safety practices, and service expectations.
• Develop and deliver training materials, procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
