Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities for a geographic area, directly supervising drivers and laborers while enforcing safety and efficiency. You will report performance metrics to management and optimize routes and facilities to keep operations smooth.

The role requires 3+ years in supervision, a high school diploma or GED, and CDL certification or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor in waste management, manufacturing or trucking.
• CDL license required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the assigned area and supervise drivers/laborers.
• Ensure safe, efficient, compliant operations and address issues in real time.
• Schedule shifts, plan for call-ins/no shows, and report department metrics.
• Evaluate facility or route coverage and optimize accordingly.
• Analyze performance and provide feedback to staff.
• Support customer issue resolution when applicable.
