Job summary

LRS Recycles is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the assigned geographic area, directly supervising drivers and laborers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

You will monitor performance, address issues in real time, and implement improvements to support productivity and service delivery, with a focus on safety and reporting to upper management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor, preferably from waste management, manufacturing or trucking/transportation.
• Must have CDL or willing to obtain one if supervising drivers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and efficiency of drivers and laborers.
• Schedule shifts, plan for call-ins/no-shows, and report department metrics.
• Oversee facility or route optimization and coverage at all times.
• Proactively evaluate and perform facility, area or route visits and assessments.
• Lead and supervise laborers or drivers, provide feedback.
• Respond to unpredictable situations that arise during work.
