Job summary

LRS Recycles is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across a geographic area, directly supervising drivers and laborers to ensure safe and efficient performance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor, preferably from the waste management, manufacturing or trucking/transportation Industry.
• Must have a commercial driver's license (CDL) or willing to obtain one (if supervising drivers)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the assigned geographic area, directly supervising drivers and/or laborers and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, route or facility optimization, and performance management.
• Address issues in real time and implement improvements to support department effectiveness and business objectives.
• Monitor departmental metrics and report findings to upper management as needed.
• Ensure safety training and incident reporting for drivers/laborers is completed and up to standard.
