Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across the assigned geographic area, supervising drivers and laborers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities include safety training, shift scheduling, route and facility optimization, performance reporting, and real-time issue resolution. CDL preferred or willing to obtain one; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor, preferably from the waste management, manufacturing or trucking/transportation Industry.
• Must have a commercial driver's license (CDL) or willing to obtain one (if supervising drivers).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the assigned geographic area and supervise drivers and/or laborers.
• Ensure safety training, safety planning, incident reporting, and compliance in operations.
• Schedule shifts, plan for call-ins/no-shows, and report department metrics and performance.
• Optimize routes and facility coverage to maintain efficiency and service levels.
• Evaluate and perform facility, area or route visits and assessments; address issues in real time.
