Job summary

zTrip is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead daily field operations, support drivers, and promote safety. You’ll respond to incidents, assist drivers, monitor safety, and ensure company standards are met.

The role blends supervision, coaching, roadside assistance, safety management, and customer service to keep operations running smoothly while upholding regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates communicate clearly under pressure, make quick, sound decisions, and are committed to dispatcher

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to remain professional under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Experience using mobile devices and fleet/driver apps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary field resource for drivers experiencing operational challenges.
• Provide real-time assistance with customer concerns, service issues, route questions, and company procedures.
• Communicate critical operational updates and driver concerns to management.
• Promote professionalism, service excellence, and compliance with company standards.
• Respond to accidents, vehicle breakdowns, emergencies, and service disruptions.
• Document incidents through detailed reports, photographs, and supporting evidence.
• Observe driver performance, conduct field audits, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Perform inspections of vehicles and safety equipment to verify readiness.
• Coordinate towing and recovery services and evaluate vehicle safety before return to service.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and operational summaries.
