MEI Industrial Solutionś Superintendent position is responsible for coordinating site surveys, customer interaction, and directing processes involved in maintaining structures and systems. You will oversee rigging, crating, and installation crews, manage scheduling and labor, and ensure safety compliance.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and safety teams to meet goals, drive quality, and maintain cost controls while building strong customer relationships and leading on-site

Qualifications

• HS diploma with continuing education in Business, Project or Construction Management or related degree a plus.
• Minimum four years proven operations management experience or comparable field preferably within the construction, manufacturing or rigging industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, management, supervisory and project management skills.
• Highly self-directed and motivated.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Responsabilités

• Attend status and scheduling meetings with customers and address quality concerns.
• Site visits to gather information on job walks and relay to Sales for proper quote work ups.
• Develops, plans, and implements schedules for rigging crew in alignment with customer direction.
• Works with Operations Manager and workforce to meet goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, training and performance of rigging, crating, and installation crews.
• Develop, train and instruct rigging, crating, and installation crews in best known practices and procedures with emphasis on safety.
• Coordinate safety training, accident investigations and reporting with safety personnel.
• Develop effective safety culture among employees.
• Manage site projects and ensure information accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in selection of asset rigging and installation equipment.
• Purchase and upkeep of rigging equipment and hand tools.
• Participate in MEI leadership and management meetings.
• Build relationships with customers, partners and support staff.
• Communicate with contractors/designers/owners regarding cost, staffing, and scheduling.
• Prepare project status reports and ensure plans meet contract specs.
• Responsible for all job site management activities of rigging, installation, and crating crews.
