Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting, based in Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking a qualified leader to supervise machine repair and industrial maintenance crews on diverse projects. You will coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and schedules, read blueprints, and monitor safety, quality, and productivity on site.

This role requires travel about 75% of the time, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to build solid customer and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Machine repair, industrial maintenance, millwright, or related field experience.
• Previous leadership or crew supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project activities.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite approximately 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor machine repair and industrial maintenance crews.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and project schedules.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate project progress, delays, and concerns to project management.
• Complete daily reports, safety plans, and jobsite meetings.
• Build strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
• Identify training needs and support employee development.
