Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead field operations on data center projects in Iowa, with sites in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. You will guide project superintendents, train field supervisors, and coordinate field activities from preconstruction through completion.

You will advise project managers on field issues, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with company goals. A strong background in commercial construction and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Eight years in commercial construction and business management; six as Senior Project Superintendent.
• Experience as business manager or owner preferred; leading field teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all field operations and guide project leadership.
• Advise Project Managers on field issues and planning.
• Develop and maintain a qualified team of field supervisors.
• Plan projects from preconstruction to completion and liaise with management.
• Represent field needs in decision making and drive results.
