Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily field operations for utility crews in Jasper, AL. You will coordinate work orders, supervise training, enforce safety protocols, and maintain customer relations to ensure efficient, compliant service.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL, and strong leadership. Travel for storm work is possible; expect reporting, cost control, and equipment maintenance duties.

• Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Must have CDL for driving and storm work travel.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy, and conducts safety training.
• Discuses with property owners issues such as access and responsibility; coordinates with General Foreperson for controversial cases.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Promotes and maintains good customer relations through the completion of assigned work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Controls crew costs, including use of people power and equipment.
• Furnishes reports to General Foreperson and utility representatives on work completed and crew time.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
