Job summary

Ally Waste Services in Phoenix is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead the Waste Leveling and Bulk Service teams. You will supervise Waste Leveler Technicians and Bulk Service Technicians, drive route efficiency, uphold safety standards, and maintain high client satisfaction by hands-on leadership.

This is a full-time, salary role with $55,000–$60,000 DOE. You must be ready to lead from the front and step into the field when needed, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience (waste management, logistics, or field services preferred).
• Experience pulling and maneuvering trailers safely.
• Tech-savvy; proficient in tablets and routing/scheduling software.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Oversight: Supervise daily operations, conduct ride-alongs and field audits, and KPI management.
• Route & Operational Management: Oversee scheduling and dispatch via tablet/routing systems, optimize labor utilization, and complete routes during staffing shortages.
• Training & Onboarding: Lead onboarding and hands-on training for new technicians regarding safety, trailer handling, and customer service standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce DOT standards, ensure proper trailer operation, and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Client Relations: Maintain professional relationships with property managers and address service concerns promptly.
