City of Shreveport is seeking a capable supervisor to support the Zone Manager in field operations for water/sewer facilities. You will schedule work, train crews, and ensure safety and compliance with CMMS documentation.

Responsibilities include interviewing candidates, assisting with budget and CIP planning, and coordinating with contractors. The role requires on-call availability and hands-on inspections of facilities and equipment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2-year vocational degree in mechanical, electrical, or welding and related experience.
• Three or five years of operations/maintenance or related supervisory experience in water/sewer facilities.
• Class 3 Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Certificates within 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Zone Manager with scheduling and assigning work to crews.
• Interview job applicants and participate in hiring decisions.
• Oversee contractor projects, capital improvement planning, and safety compliance.
• Perform inspections and quality control on projects and operations.
• Maintain CMMS records, generate progress and time reports, and track materials.
• On-call 24/7; assist with budget monitoring and end-of-month reporting.
