Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily field operations, plan and assign crew work, and enforce safety protocols on site. You will interpret orders from management and mentor crew members to ensure high productivity and safety.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to travel for storm work, and a valid CDL with reliable driving skills. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to field requirements.
• Willingness to travel for storm work and operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Obtains access permissions and coordinates with property owners/customers.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and performance reports.
• Controls crew costs and manages equipment operation.
• Prepares reports on incidents, damage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Cooperates with authorities when blocking streets or driveways.
