Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC Foreperson position overseeing daily crew operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed on site. You will plan workloads after orders from a General Foreperson, guide crew training, and coordinate field work with property owners.

The role requires a CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to travel for storm work. Compensation is competitive hourly with full-time benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with heights.
• Willing to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, interruptions, and work scope with property owners; refers contentious cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Promotes good customer relations through effective task completion by the crew.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage claims as needed.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports on performance.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, units, time, and repairs.
