Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson for a full-time, non-exempt position in Reading, PA. You will plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after receiving orders from a General Foreperson or Supervisor.

You must have strong communication and leadership skills, be able to multitask, and drive a company vehicle. DOT maintenance and safety compliance are required, with a focus on customer relations and field safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understands drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good organization and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements and taking independent action.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• No fear of heights.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and equipment usage.
• Provides reports on orders completed and crew performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when roads are blocked.
