Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead daily field operations, coach teams, and drive safe, efficient execution across our environmental services. You will manage field crews, schedule routes, and safeguard customer satisfaction while collaborating with dispatch, sales, and operations leadership.

You will forecast revenue, estimate jobs, control costs, and ensure DOT compliance while growing bench strength for future expansion and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field-based operations experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, waste or environmental services
• Experience supervising a crew or managing field operations
• Ability to forecast revenue and manage operational performance
• Experience estimating or quoting transportation, hauling or service-based work
• Strong customer relationship skills with a responsive, service-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations, and valid Class B CDL or higher

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily routes and work assignments for drivers and field personnel
• Lead, coach and hold drivers and field personnel accountable for safety, service quality, productivity and standards
• Monitor route efficiency, productivity and cost performance
• Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a primary operational point of contact
• Quote and estimate work and support pricing decisions to drive profitable growth
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly revenue forecasts
• Manage job costs, materials and changes needed during the work
• Conduct monthly fleet and facility inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, company standards and local permitting requirements
• Partner with dispatch and sales teams to maximize bookings and efficiency
• Respond to customer issues and operational challenges with urgency and professionalism
• Train and develop team members and help build bench strength for future growth
• Support the Operations Manager and be ready to step up when needed
