Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead field crews across our diverse service offerings, ensuring best-in-class service and safety on every job. You’ll manage scheduling, coaching, and problem-solving in the field, while coordinating with operations, sales, and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in outdoor/field services (environmental, construction, landscaping).
• Experience leading a crew or field operations.
• Familiarity with water, sewer, pipeline, or septic work.
• Strong planning, job costing, and change-order skills.
• Willingness to obtain/hold septic installation CDL class B/heavy equipment license.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day work for field techs: scheduling, coaching, problem-solving in the field.
• Oversee on-site technicians to ensure quality, compliance, and safety.
• Assist with job costing, materials, and scope changes during jobs.
• Ensure compliance with local permits and inspections.
• Build strong relationships with crew, customers, and internal teams.
• Train and develop team members; promote from within.
• Support Operations Manager and step up when needed.
