Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead field crews and ensure best-in-class service across our grease trap, septic, storm water, drain cleaning, and portable toilet offerings. You will lead from the front, keep jobs moving safely and on schedule, and collaborate with sales and dispatch.

You’ll manage scheduling, coaching, on-site supervision, and costs, while ensuring permitting compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in outdoor/field services industry.
• Experience leading a crew or managing field operations.
• Familiarity with water, sewer, pipeline, or septic work.
• Licensed (or willing to become licensed) for septic installation, CDL (class B), heavy equipment operation.
• Strong communication and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day work for a team of field techs—scheduling, coaching, and solving problems in the field.
• Oversee technicians on site—ensuring quality service, adherence to policies, and safety first.
• Help manage job costs, materials, and any needed changes during the work.
• Ensure we’re meeting local permitting and inspection requirements.
• Build strong relationships with crew, customers, and internal support teams.
• Train and develop team members—we promote from within, and you’ll help make that happen.
• Support the Operations Manager and be ready to step up when needed.
