Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services seeks a Field Operations Manager to ensure field capacity and quality controls for home energy programs. You will oversee QA Specialists and contractor liaison, forecast demand, and manage subcontractors delivering home energy assessments and weatherization services.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in field ops, strong energy efficiency knowledge, and proven leadership. Travel and a dynamic team environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in field operations, team management, and assessments (QA/QC).
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles for residential/multi-family buildings.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize workload.
• Proficient with project management software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of Home Energy Assessments and weatherization services.
• Forecast production and align staffing with demand.
• Monitor field production, backlog, and QA/QC findings.
• Coordinate contractor readiness and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Lead QA/QC trends to coach contractor improvements.
• Direct team performance, set goals, and manage staffing.
