Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support residential energy efficiency programs. You will perform field assessments, verify actions, and analyze performance data to improve quality and customer experience.

Role requires collaboration with program teams across Home Energy Assessments, Weatherization, and Whole Home Solutions, and may travel up to 95% within the territory. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC or related tech in residential/commercial/industrial facilities.
• Strong customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; able to analyze data and solve problems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with diverse people.
• Travel up to 95% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA reviews of HEA, Weatherization and Whole Home Energy projects.
• Evaluate customer experience, safety, and process adherence.
• Apply QA/QC scorecards and inspection procedures consistently.
• Document scores, observations, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate findings and corrections to staff and contractors.
• Track corrective actions, due dates, and closures; escalate issues.
• Analyze QA/QC results to identify trends and training needs.
• Recommend practical improvements to processes and training.
• Participate in monthly improvement meetings and update procedures.
