Job summary

Consigli Construction seeks a Field Operations Intern to support Superintendents and Project Managers in safety, scheduling, and field documentation. You will assist with daily reports, safety walks, quantity tracking, and schedule updates in a hands-on field environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in construction management or engineering, with basic knowledge of site safety and CPM concepts, and strong MS Office skills. In-person 40-hour weeks in New York.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook; able to learn CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and docs.
• Strong organizational skills for reporting and documentation.
• Basic understanding of CPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program administration for a safe work environment.
• Assist with reading drawings, submittals, and project docs.
• Help field team with daily/weekly activities and reports.
• Contribute to schedule analysis and critical path understanding.
• Participate in short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Support QA through site inspections and material verification.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines and safety needs.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking.
• Monitor deliveries and inventory to keep progress on track.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate updates.
• Observe site conditions and report potential risks.
• Utilize CM software to update project information.
