Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a Field Operations Intern in New York. This in-person role supports field teams by aiding safety program administration, scheduling analysis, and site documentation. You will gain hands-on experience with field coordination and project controls.

The internship requires pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. It offers exposure to CPM concepts and daily field activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and reading construction drawings.

Responsabilités

• Support project safety program administration to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation to provide technical assistance.
• Assist superintendent and project manager with daily/weekly activities including daily reports, safety walks, quantity reports, and updating schedules.
• Understand the overall project schedule and critical path analysis.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet project milestones.
• Participate in quality assurance via site inspections and material verifications.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines and safety requirements.
• Maintain project documentation like daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking.
• Monitor on-site material deliveries and inventory to support progress.
• Engage in project team meetings and communicate updates and challenges.
• Observe site conditions that could impact schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use construction management software to track and update project information.
