Consigli Construction in New York is offering a Field Operations Intern position that provides hands-on experience supporting safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and job site documentation. The internship is full-time, in person, with a 40-hour work week, and pays $24–$29 per hour.

You will work closely with field leaders to develop scheduling, quality control, and coordination across subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with aptitude for learning construction management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and reporting.
• Basic understanding of CPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety program administration and site safety walks.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Support daily/weekly tasks with reports, schedules, and updates.
• Develop understanding of the project schedule and critical path.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA through inspections and material verification.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines.
• Maintain logs, RFIs, submittals, and project records.
• Monitor onsite deliveries and inventory.
• Attend team meetings and communicate updates.
• Observe site conditions affecting schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use CM software to track and update project info.
