Job summary

Green Ocean Property Management is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Property Manager focused on maintenance coordination, field operations, inspections, and HOA support in the Boston area.

The role emphasizes on‑site field work, vendor oversight, and robust communication across residents, vendors, and board members. Experience with HOA communities is highly preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, HOA management, maintenance coordination or field operations.
• HOA experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple properties, vendors and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and inspections across properties and HOA portfolios.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors, schedule contractors and track work orders.
• Conduct routine property inspections for maintenance, safety or repair needs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance scheduling and follow-ups.
• Support HOA operations, track common area maintenance and coordinate vendor activities.
• Perform daily site visits to assess conditions and document with photos and reports.
• Participate in an on‑call emergency rotation to handle after‑hours issues.
