Job summary

i2G Systems in Michigan is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to streamline scheduling, dispatch, and ticket workflows for field technicians. You will serve as the central liaison among technicians, project teams, and clients to ensure work orders are executed efficiently and tracked accurately.

Responsibilities include monitoring ticket lifecycles, coordinating with procurement, engineering, and billing, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2+ years of experience in operations coordination, service dispatch, field service coordination, or technical scheduling.
• Experience with ticketing systems, FSM software, or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Jira).
• Familiarity with physical security, low-voltage, life safety, or telecommunications field operations is preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician scheduling, dispatch, and routing to optimize timelines and SLA commitments.
• Monitor full lifecycle of service/work order tickets from creation to completion in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with project managers, operations leadership, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure resource readiness.
• Generate weekly/monthly metrics on technician utilization, ticket resolution times, and schedule adherence.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and contribute to SOP updates for dispatch and field service workflows.
