Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Nurse III - Health Facility to conduct on-site inspections and investigations in long-term care settings to ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Perform on-site licensure inspections, complaint investigations, and surveys in long-term care facilities.
• Travel up to 80% statewide and intermittently across the region.
• Write detailed reports documenting findings and regulatory determinations.
• Communicate findings clearly to facility staff and external stakeholders.
• Possibly supervise team members during inspections and assist facilities as needed.
