Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse Field Assessor in Milwaukee, WI to conduct Long Term Care insurance assessments. The role involves collecting demographics, physician details, medications, and evaluating functional independence, with cognitive screening and ADL/IADL assessments.

The nurse must be tech-savvy and able to use a point of care system on a laptop or tablet for documentation. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex or disability.

Responsibilities

• Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments.
• Obtain claimant demographics, physician information and current medication list.
• Evaluate claimant's functional level of independence.
• Perform brief cognitive screening and assess ADL/IADL tasks.
• Use a point of care web app/system on laptop/tablet for real-time documentation.
