Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced installer/technician to deliver high-quality customer service while performing on-site installation and repair of internet services and cabling across North America. You will diagnose issues, replace hardware, and install data circuits while adhering to safety standards and working both independently and with teams.

Applicants should have 5+ years in telecommunications, strong communication, and a technical degree preference.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
Positive, customer-focused attitude enabling calm de‑escalation in challenging situations.
Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working in the field independently in a dynamic environment and clear verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience to every client.
Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective de-escalation techniques.
Perform on-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment.
Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity.
Follow Ledcor’s safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times.
