Job summary

Comcast is seeking a skilled field technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot voice, video, internet, and enterprise services for commercial customers. You will work independently in the field, manage a daily workload, diagnose service issues, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.

This role includes on-call rotation roughly every five weeks, handling complex installations for varied enterprise sizes, with responsibility for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs installations and changes of service, while adhering to company procedures and safe work practices, NEC/NESC, and local ordinances.
• Installs and configures network devices and uses CLI on equipment (e.g., Lynx, Cisco, Juniper, Ciena).
• Performs residential and commercial service calls, including PBX cross connects and integration with legacy systems.
• Conducts commercial site surveys and designs advanced business networks per customer needs.
• Maintains and tests customer premise equipment (CPE), ensuring proper configurations and handoffs.
