Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Field Technician to install, test, operate, maintain and repair headend equipment across the cable network, logging activities and ensuring signal quality. You will conduct quality control tests and work to resolve RF/IP/DV issues while maintaining the required documentation.

The role is field-based with flexibility for nights and weekends as needed. Prior telecom knowledge is preferred; familiarity with ladders and aerial lifts is beneficial for safe operation and project

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience is typical.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced headend maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize outages.
• Assist in fault resolution of RF, IP and Digital Video networks.
• Maintain inventory for headend and OTN projects.
• Work within equipment weight capacities and safety guidelines (ladders, lifts).
• Maintain regular attendance; may require nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
