Job summary

Comcast Davie, FL, is seeking a Technician 5 to install, maintain and troubleshoot voice, video, internet, and advanced business services for commercial customers. You will work independently in the field, manage daily workloads, and participate in an on-call rotation, often requiring evening or weekend coverage.

You will handle complex service installations, repair tasks, and customer interactions while ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of field experience in telecom service is preferred.
• Proven ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise services.

Responsibilities

• Performs installations and changes of service adhering to NEC, safety practices, and local codes.
• Installs and configures IPs and loads customer configurations.
• Configures and troubleshoots network devices (Lynx, Cisco, Juniper, Ciena).
• Manages field workload, communicates with customers, and ensures quality of service.
