Job summary

Intermountain Infrastructure Group, LLC is seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist to support deployment, commissioning, operation, and long-term maintenance of fiber optic network infrastructure and POP sites across a regional route. The role oversees shelter deployments, coordinates with field teams, and ensures timely maintenance and outages are resolved.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in telecom/utility, fiber installation, and testing with OTDRs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications or utility industry.
• Fiber splicing experience is a plus.
• Experience with Inside Plant (ISP) installation and maintenance, including rack installation, DC power plants, 48V systems, batteries, fuse panels, and fiber panels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shelter placements and deployment within route.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with field teams for shelter locations and POP facilities.
• Review permits, contractor deliverables, and inspection reports.
