Job summary

Orient Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer (Field Support Engineer) to install, configure, and maintain network and security devices at client locations. The role requires regular field visits for deployments, preventive maintenance, and incident resolution.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and firewall policies. Willingness to travel and provide onsite support is essential for this role.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
1-2 years of relevant networking experience.
Equivalent certifications considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
Perform mounting, stacking, and deployment of network devices.
Manage firewall policies
Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance activities.
Monitor network and security device logs and resolve incidents.
Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security policy issues.
Collaborate with Network, SOC, and Infrastructure teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes.
Prepare Incident Reports, RCA, and Change Management documents.
