S&ME, a 100% employee-owned company, is hiring an NDT/NDE Technician in Wilmington, NC. You will perform field inspections of structural steel, including high climbs with fall protection, and conduct UT/MT testing to ensure safety and integrity of our projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years NDT/NDE metals testing experience OR an associate degree in a related field
• Active industry certifications: AWS CWI or in progress; ASNT Level II in at least one method

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing to uphold quality standards.
• Perform UT weld inspections and MT inspections as part of field testing.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment; manage field/lab inventories and records.
• Craft detailed reports communicating findings clearly.
